SLow growing plant HElp

I am growing outdoors in the very strong sun, and my plant sprouted like 6-9 days ago but it still doesn't have its first leaves I know it is still alive because today I noticed it got a little bit taller and the its first leaves are just starting.
Am I missing necessary nutrients. The other plants I grew had there leaves like pretty much when they sprouted but i was using store bought soil , now I am using normal soil that I sterilized and I also used animal urine fertilizer on it also normal animal manure to<< ha sounds nasty. Because I wanted to experiment with growing for $0.
Should I not be a dumbass and just go by some soil, or is there something I am missing that can easily help my stunted plant.

the reason you cant see growth is because you dont have xray vision. (ill give you a hint, roots!)

but I haven't seen much progress out of the soil... and my plant wasn't planted anymore than 2-4 centimeters deep is this to deep?

Right now at this stage your plants are developing their root system,They will grow top growth soon.

dont worry about it unless its dead lol every plants a little diferent no 2 really grow similar

I understood the roots are growing, I was just wondering why this little plant takes so long to grow its first leaves when all my other plants had thiers in the 3rd or 4th day after sprouting, thanks for the help

im not trying to be an AHOLE. i guess i was under the impression that it was common sence a plant would need to develop a root system, to be able to support the vegitive growth. kinda like crawling before you walk

You are still not answering his question. Yes all strains are different, but to take that long to grow its first set of leaves is wrong. Does not matter what strain it is. This is simple botany. All plants will grow faster with the right amount of light, water, and air. That doesn't matter if it its marijuana or ****ing geraniums. If the plant is taking that long to grow you wanna check those 3 basic principles as they could be hindered by one of the 3.

I think you answered your own question. Your other grow in different soil was fine. You changed soil and now it's not fine. Unless there happens to be something amiss with that particular plant, it seems obvious to me. As for the roots thing, I would think that people should know that Mother Nature is really amazing, she can make the roots and the 'plant' grow at the same time. Imagine that! Sheesh.
