Yea, its hard to give an opinion without seeing something.
What I can tell you is adding molasses is not a good idea now. Keeping the soil temp between 70 and 80° when they are small helps.
The roots are super delicate right now adding perlite to the soil may help but would mean a transplant and its easy to break it right now. Most of the time when I get slow growth in a seedling is when I over water them or they get cold.

My first seedling started off slow as well, some strains just take their time I guess, what soil are you growing in and all that stuff? I first started my seedling in just some normal dirt from my backyard and she was taking her time, then once I transferred her to Fox Farms Ocan Forest she took off. Sometimes you gotta give the plants time and let them do their own thing. Hope your grow goes well!

Yeah man I hear ya on the being broke part, I got lucky and was given a bunch of CFL lights for free when we got a new heater for the house, my electric company is trying to get more environment friends houses. Then I got lucky with finding some cheaper FFOF for just like 8 bucks.

Seems like you got enough light for now, though you didn't say how many plants you have sprouting right now. Also, how long has it been since they broke ground?

Well I hope that new soil works better for you man, post pictures when you can, that would help a lot of the more experienced guys tell you what they think, as some guys say on here, "pics or it doesn't exist" haha.

i run miracle grow moisture control. its working great the growth is fast and its cheap. i was using FFOF and FFHF but the cheap stuff is doing as well or better. but i do run all Fox Farms nutes though. try to keep soil for your sprouts on the dry side, watch for leaf sag and then give em some... they'll take off for ya then :)
