i just got done dealing with this issue, actually. my girls looked like yours (claws, extra dark, leathery leaves), ph and ppm both dropping rapidly, etc. i use pbp nutes, r/o water in dwc. initially, i thought it was n toxicity. i cut back the n a bit, and they started looking worse. what fixed it for me was going from 2 ml/gal calmag to 5 ml/gal. the problem there was that i started this run using my old tap water recipe after moving to new facility that has r/o. oops. anyway, even if you run tap water(or in your case, well water), there may not be not enough calcium and/or magnesium in it for your girls (it may be worth your while to obtain a water analysis). if you decide to try this, i suggest 2-4ml/gal of calmag, as there is likely at least some c and mg already present in your water.
