Slugz are stupid x(

Last year i had a horrible problem with slugs eating my babies, i tried salt around the pots(worked for like 2 nights, tried the beer in a cup had to change it to much lots o rain.) but the method that seemed to beat slugs and ants, and took no maintenance.


Dig a hole, we dug a hole and put 3 boards spaced out over it, then we balanced the three pots on the boards. The dumb bastards never could figure it out. And if they figured out how to get on the boards we would always seeem to catch them b4 they got to the pots, or they would cook!

So thats one set it and forget it way to slugproof your girls.

Also the copper wire wrapped around the base of the plant. Heard that works. Nice to see you found another method. THanks for sharing.

oh i never tried copper wire, I think we almost covered the ground in pennies. We didnt think of wire tho lol. so thank you as well

Howdy, dont know much about slugs but i have a Shit Load of snails you can have. what i use for snails and has worked real good is used coffie grounds around the base of of your Baby coffie Kills snails. they really dont like and the coffie grounds are good for your girls.

Easiest method that has
worked for me is take a bowl and fill
it with beer and place it near the base of your pant. The snails/slugs will be attracted to it and crawl
into it drowning themselves

ill have to try th coffee thing, just to see how it affects the girls

yeah, but if its really rainy and you cant get out there for a couple of weeks it stops working so well. lol otherwise it works great
