My baby's are 2 and a half weeks old and a few days ago small brown mushrooms started appearing. Ive been pullin them straight out. Should I be leaving them? Will they harm my plant?

i would pull them out. mushrooms are fungi. Probably came from the soil you're using. Don't know if they are harmful though.

I would assume they're harmful, most common fungi that I'm aware of are parasitic in nature, in that they leach nutrients etc off plants. I don't see any harm in pulling them, better safe than sorry!

They are not harmful, unless you eat them. When mushrooms appear, it's a sign that you have good living soil. The fungi help break down material and make it more available to the plants. If it's right there next to the plant, I would just pull them and bury it in the soil. Other fungi in the soil will break them down and they'll become food for your plants.

Thanks for the help. I feel a bit better about them now. The fuckers are popping up everywhere. The soil was soaking when I bought it.

i've seen those in outdoor planters with different plants planted. They're just common annoying mushrooms. pull them and if they come back pull them again.
