Small buds for week 5?

Looking fine, its a sativa from the looks of it and they go longer - 10-12 weeks typically. Yours are at least a month to a month and a half out.

Okay thanks! According to the weekly pictures I took of mine the buds are still small at week 4. I think genetics plays a big role on overall dankness/bud size less the grower skill. Good luck on your grow jon E. :bigjoint:

Ha. I just checked your profile. You've been around a little bit longer than me. I was looking through some of the posts on here and I'm seeing all these guys buying these genetics from America that seem pretty expensive. Some were making fun of some of the breeders I have used that I actually have had pretty good luck with. When I saw some of the US breeder packs at $200 for regular I said no fucking way!!! One of the first grows I did was Nirvana Ice. Nirvana seeds are cheap, consistent, and good. I also grew their version of White Rhino. I got tons of compliments on that. Anyhow I saw your post and it was a perfect storm of thought. See ya...



P.S. There is my ICE from 1/10 that I posted on here. Hang in there OP you will be fine. There is at the very least bud on the plant that you will be able to smoke so all is not lost right?

Hey man maybe you saw a reply I sent to someone else on you post. In that reply I have a picture of Nirvana Ice. When I pulled that picture I saw a DNA Lemon Skunk that went 12/12 at the same time as the Ice plant. See the difference? Lemon Skunk does not have near the bud on it yet for the same amount of time, BUT Lemon Skunk put on its weight late into 12/12 and actually if I remember right put out the most of any single plant of that particular grow. Again, hang in there.

EDIT: Just for the sake of stating in case someone is wondering; both plants according to my post were at week 4 when these pictures were taken.

EDIT EDIT: I read your comment on topping. I got into an argument with Uncle Ben a few years ago because he has a really stale post about the benefits of topping, and I disagreed with him. I also caught flame from some of his fanboys. I could be a minority, but I tried it and it didn't produce anymore than the plants I didn't top. That probably explains your large cola on you non-topped plant. Again, some people prefer topping, but not me.
