Yeah I've found that using a lot of smaller cfls (55w) spread out inside the box works best if your not using a scrog. Then you can better achieve getting the CFL light no more than 3-4" from any part of the plant. Any further than that you loose massive amounts of lumens. If you can learn to train a plant to grow flat using a screen and scrog then you can keep all your buds at the same level and it's easier to use one or two large light sources like you have. Check out my grow and see how to efficiently use a scrog in a small space for growing with cfls. Otherwise it is actually a great idea to just but a HPS or good LED light set up. Then you don't have to worry about training because the light travels so far from those. But if you combine a stronger light, and scrog you can really get some huge buds
