Small Closet Grow Set Up's

yeah i had a question about that to which soil does everyone reccomend the most? and wats a good nutrient i see alot of ppl got there custom made stuff but im not that into it yet so i need sumthin pretty simple yet effective and already mixed or close to it anyway is fox farm good ? and when after the plant sprouts do u start giving it nutrients? and should the soil stay at the same ph the plants whole life or does it vary threw plant growth of how much ph should be in the soil ?

1-fox farm is good
2-give the plants nutes after 2 weeks or if you see yellowing of leaves.
3-I dont know get a ph meter for soil.

alrite awesome have u guys ever used or knew anyone that used the soiltablets from nirvana ? and ok i just have acouple more questions and i think i got it pretty much all down packed atleast for now but 1 im gonna use florescents to vegg my plants on once they start to flower ima switch them to the hps light and someone told me to use the High Output T5 florescents with the 6500K grow bulbs to vegg my plants on but im wondering would that be sufficent enough or should i use a different kinda bulb with that also or would the 6500k bulb do pretty good all on its on and 2 this one might seem stupid as im sure most do but do i use the rock wool with the fox farm soil or would that be over doing it ? i never used rock wool before but it seems like it would be good for transplanting

that's what i'm saying. it's like asking a mechanic how to replace the water pump when you can't even change the oil yet. this forum only works assuming people have done at least a stitch of research. i was going to link the guy to threads that have had his questions answered a hundred times over, but i guess it gives people a thrill to try to explain and repeat months of growing research in a matter of 4 sentences. to each his own i guess.

Yeah. Make sure its a 8 bulb setup fixture! Your going to want to invest into side lighting later

But if i can add in my 2 cents save up for a 400w mh/hps. Cfl make airy bud. 400w tho you will have dank ass packed bud!

no i was just going to use the florescent to vegg and than i was going to turn on the hps during flowering ? but i would need 8 of those lights for say about 5 plants?

For 5!! Fuck um. Not good with these ho t5 but man tbh 8 bulbs is just enough for 2 plants id say.

So you might need 3 of those fixtures. Not 100% sure tho!

If you are goin to just veg.The 2 or 4 bulbs should be fine.

Get some T5s and mix it w/ LED for best results. Then you dont have to worry about ventilation and/or fires.
If you can, get the T5 bulbs in the 2700k spectrum, that will be better for flowering.
Im growin with LED and T5 in a stealth tent with aeroponics, didnt cost too much to start up either.
Visit my journal if you get a chance, you can see how vigorous the plants are growing even after 2 weeks.
The hps/mh will make your closet 100 degrees+, skip those man...

alrite yeah ill go check out ur journal but the closet im workin in isnt as small as that closet its a walk in closet with metal sliding doors but whats a LED ?

ok so u suggest i just use the T5 bulbs in the 2700k spectrum with some LED how many and what wattage ? and use the same lighting the plants whole life ? btw i just looked at ur journal and at some LED so i see what ur talkin bout but ur set up seems a lil complicated but man u got a hell of a nice set up
