all i seem to get is popcorn buds the cola buds are small, using 9 42 watt cfls at 2400 spectrum, im not using any nutes right now, how can i boost the size of the buds, thanx

5 wks from 12/12 flip means your buds are 3 wks into bloom.
so ur saying these are only 2 weeks into flower have a look at my started thread jack no 7
i flipped them 4 weeks ago ?
have a look at my started thread jack no 7 and are they smaller than that i put them into flower (12/12) 4 weeks ago.

Wrong dude. Breeders start counting from the start of 12 / 12 for indoor growing. You are giving misinformation.

I dont have a ph tester, where could i get one, they been at 5 weeks since 12 12 switch, id definately like to pick up some decent nutes, any preference? also the only leaves i been taking off is the fan leaves and some smaller leaves around the buds to get light, its a sour diesel plant.... tganx for the help

There's way too many factors that go into growing, and way too many different strains and phenos of those strains that all react differently, for all information to work on every persons grow. You could simply have a low yielding strain. It could be under fed, leading to smaller yield. Your lights could be too far away, causing lower yield. It could be too hot. It could be too cold. The space could be CO2 deficient. etc.
See what I'm saying?
Not all of the time, but most of the time, those claiming "this is the 'right' way to do it" are either trying to sell you something, or are just plain stupid.
There's really not very many absolutes. Everything else is personal preference only.
There's always more than one opinion on every subject too. Example FACT: not every breeder counts the day of transition to 12/12 as day one of flowering.

I am not sure why people dont get thisflowering starts the day the lights go 12/12 not on some observational guess on the growers part
