small dry in shoebox (hanging, sitting)

So im coming to the end of my second grow was wondering if there is a difference between hangin the buds to dry or mayby I could just sit them in a shoebox in a dark place, also i wouldnt want to compromise the flavor or anything so might I need to put something over the carboard if so ?

dont half ass hang them and dont let them touch they need air circulating all around them

hang up deffinatly

if you lay it down it will cure inconsistantly and make you have to turn em alot to prevent molding
also alot of yout trich's will get stuck to the cardboard
