Small outdoor grow- would this work to help keep it on the dl

I have already started some plants indoors and will be moving them outside soon. Keep in mind this is a small grow for personal use, I'm not growing some major crop.
I have two spots where the plants will be placed. The one I am stressing over is in my garden. I want to put two of the babies in the ground there. Looking around at pictures here some peoples plants get HUGE! Obviously the larger the plant the more attention it could draw.
I had an idea but wasn't sure if it would work or if it would end up ruining my plants. I was going to put some stakes in the ground and then use some clear(well it is semi clear) plastic wrap that comes on a roll. I figured it will be right with the garden so it won't stick out. The plastic would just cut down on visibilty.
Would this work? I've heard of people doing this for gardens to keep out critters.

ok dude what you should do to get it started outside is find a pot, find some good soil, and good seeds. what you should do first is plant the seed in the pot and wrap it with serran wrap after you've watered it, and then leave it outside for a few days.. naturaly they will create their own environment inside the pot.. but make sure you poke some holes in the top so that you can let you're plant breath, and another issue is that u need to poke a whole in the bottom so that the extra water can release and drown the plant and you should be growing by the next day.

Desert- Yes/No. Nothing over the top of the plant. Four posts and then the plastic going around the posts to form a box. No roof or anything.

Santa- Did you reply to the wrong post? I have all of that taken care of already.

Ummm I don't see how this attracts LESS attention. Seems to me that it would attract more. It's not plastic wrap is that invisible. People will see the general structure with the posts and wonder what you're trying so hard to protect. I think it's a terrible idea.

If you didn't get a strain that specifically stays small (such as an auto-flowering dwarf variety), then you can try to use LST, topping, FIMing, or some other technique to keep them smaller. That being said, they could still get big... the garden may not be a great idea if you don't know what strain you have and how big they get.

I guess anyone that might see the garden would wonder what the plastic is for. I got the idea and was thinking more about the plants that the obvious...
I have new purple power and durban poison.
I guess I'm better off trying LST or just topping them when they are as tall as the tomato plants.

Aren't those both pure Sativas? I know Durban Poison is. That's gonna be a BITCH to keep short. They grow tall and lanky with airy buds. Bad strain choice man... but you can probably still keep it under control with some serious LST. Although, neighbors may get curious about a funny looking plant that you put that much effort into... I'm not sure I like the garden idea overall.

lst and top as much as you can, keep those tall sativas as short as possible. do not top when they are as tall as your tomato plants because they will grow even higher than your tomatoe plants guaranteed.
