Small time legal growing in Cali: Profitable?

This is the age old queston... Sooo many people in Cali are trying to do the same thing..... Just take a look on craigslist and see how much used hydro equipment is for sale... And you will see that it is only (one run) old..... You can make money but there are a shitload of people doing so... and alot of people are producing some very high end smoke.... It's all about supply and demand and they all just got hit with a ton of outdoor.... so when they are thinking about very nice outdoor for 1400 a P and your high quality Super OG for 3200 a P then you usually lose.... My suggestion to you is to make sure you have a job and you don't rely on this as your only form of income.... So many people have put all there eggs in one basket and will nearly give it away just so they can pay their bills.... That makes the market drop fast as well..... And as far as a legal grow.. it is legal to grow medicine for youself... But when you go to sell it for a profit.... Then you cross the line.....

it can be rather profitable. u can sling to some dispensories with as little as a half pound which can be done on just one plant. half p of dank is ruffly $2k in southern cali. how much did u spend growing that one plant? thats right nearly nothing compared to the profit from it. and if u have more than one plant ur golden. just getting into a dispensory since the feds have been acting up is going to be difficult but still can be done. most will only deal with the regulars now.
oh and if ur only getting 1500 bucks for a pound of outdoor ur getting fucked in the ass by a dick head. pardon my language. 2800 bucks at a place i go to. and indoor can be upwards of 4500 if its dank. but dont rely on growing for profit unless u have a big enough setup. grow for smoke and extra bills but dont rely on it to pay rent. keep a job.

no he didnt. craigslist is were people that cant hack it sell there shit or have had a profitable grow and decided it wasnt for then. i sell my old grow equipement on craigslist all the time due to upgrading constantly. plus ive had friends that have spent 3000 on craigslist equipement and have grown outrageous amounts of profit then sold it all. they spend $3000-4000 and then make $40,000 in one grow then sold it all just cuz they needed the extra cash. it is still very proffitable. if it wasnt people wouldnt have started slingin it and people still wouldnt be trying to.

Everyone and their brother are growing dope in Cali, the market is well, there isn't one. You can pick up top shelf all day for less than 2k a lb. Grow for yourself, start small and sell to a couple friends. Build up from there. One friend went all out on a $4k setup and he's now trying to peddle his hardware on Craig's for $2k and getting no calls.(by hardware, I mean his grow setup, he's already out of the game after 2 grows) I literally know more people that grow, than smoke.

Grow it for 2-300 a pound and sell it for 4k in a non medical state

call bullshit all u want. im the one with the dispensory i go to and i know from experience how much they buy the bud for. and u can hate or take it as it is. ur the one getting ripped off and im the one with the paper. and if u work at a dispensory ur rippin people off. lol. just sayin no disrespect but thats how it is for me. and yes 2800 buck is a lot for outdoor but thats the highest u will get is 28. the 45 is all the time. 37plus if u have top shelf. if its cron and they pay u less than that for it. means its going in the pre rolls or its gonna be a special. specials are normally 3-3500 a pound. unlewss some idiot come in and says here i really need the money take it or u let them name their own price. then they get it cheaper. i know im around this shit all the time. and even with them paying that much they r still making a profit.

no not at all..ive herd despenzos out there pay like 2000$ a pound if its topshelf great smoke... as fare as selling to other heds..well there are more ppl in cali selling weed then ppl that want to buy it. the cali tree market is flooded! supply is way higher then demand. the places to cash out are states that have recantly legalized. new mexico to name one.

16 ounces in a pound correct? 16x$480=$7680 bucks after they sell it.
so why in the fuck wouldnt they buy bangin top shelf at up to 4500 bucks. its still 3180 bucks in profit.
