Small time legal growing in Cali: Profitable?

i grow for personal use and ive had some friends desiring to buy from me and i am sure hey would pay the same amount we pay at dispensaries but it would only be a couple grams here and there - doesn't add up to much... i would't mind selling if i grew more but i grow such a small amount for personal use, the weed is actually more valuable to me than the $. I do give joints and nuggets to friends but i haven't made any $.

i cant tell if ur trying to be an asshole and shoot me down or are agreeing with me. i stated the diff. either way with them still paying 4500 for a pound they are still making 3000+ in profit. and thats just per strain of the top shelf.

thats what it sounded like to me .............cant have a rifle that holds more than ten shots no thumbhole grips no long guns w two grips ......think i read 30 inch barrels where i come from we chop em down to like 19

18 inches is the legal cali limit. no less on long guns. its cool. a shoty with birdshot and a 1911 keep my house safe.

I'm not an asshole I'm a realist, by your math it may be 3000 profit on a lb but that does not mean they will actually pay that. The thing about the pot market in cali is no matter what's charged there's more smoke than smokers and we are a capitalist nation, where people compete to get rid of it dispensaries will flourish, if you ever knew people buying for 4400+ I'd make you a wealthy man but not even in cali. 4 absolute tops even in socal and it's the same in Colorado where your lucky to get 32 on good ins. Unless you have contacts out of a medical state your not selling much of anything for 4500 a no matter what you think it's worth. Shit even in non medical states nobody wants to pay 45

If you plan on selling it to a dispensary for 4500 in socal based on that logic you will be disappointed especially this time of year, I know people sitting on stuff from 2010.

it true. every time im chillin smoking bowls with them. they are getting the dank for 3700-4500 bills if its top shelf. and the fact is the place has 10000 patients and generally has 15-18 strains on deck. they still run out. a pound of bud lasts 2 days max. if its in such demand then why not pay that much to have that much profit afterwards. plus if u have a regular set of people that consistently supply u with reliably strong bud that u need for ur business to run properly? why wouldnt u pay it? if u dont believe it then u didnt shop around for places to sling ur bud enough and i feel sorry for u. think what u want im over it. i honestly dont care what u think ur the ones losing money. and its not logic if its already happening. marijuana is by far the biggest cash crop in california and will continue to be even after its fully legal. money is money and people will pay for it if ur product is decent and u have a steady supply of it. thats my two cents.

oh and the people sitting on the stuff since 2010 are retards. i could have gotten rid of it for them with a little bit of foot work and gas bills.

i never said i would get that much here. average for top shelf at this place is above 4000. topping out at around 4500. its reasonable if u concider the circumstances. and i dont hate it if u dont believe me. a year ago i would have said the same shit about the prices im tossing out. but real shit its true. im not blowin smoke. lmao. ive said my two cents if u choose to believe it or not is up to u. im gonna smoke a bowl and have a glass of oj. enjoy and merry christmas.
