Smart pots or air pots?

I've been using milk crates lined with nylon screen for years. Works fantastic and lasts forever. Easy to clean and disinfect between grows. I guess you'd call them air pots.
Ha ,funny back in the day milk crates and garbage bags did the trick.Too suspicious buying pots in the middle of winter.

I've got copy air pots with the top holes blank, the main difference i see between original and copies is the hole arrangement starting of small and getting bigger lower down, on my decent copies the holes are the same size top to bottom with the top two rows blank.

I've a 3rd lot i got last year for a project and they're crap, the holes are too small and they have a flattened/rounded end which prevents air pruning and tends to turn the roots back into the pot, if you compare the two it's self explanatory.

The copies in that link are very poor by comparison to the regular ones.
