Maybe think about pinching those S hooks closed so the chain can't slip off of them if it's bumped. The ones on the fan especially are very open, just take some channel lock pliers and squeeze them closed. The top one on the filter could use it too but not as critical I'd say.

I use the filter but a much quieter fan.

I have a few of those fans in 6" and a couple in 8". A couple of them have more motor noise than others. Not sure if it is a balance issue, bearing issue, or just the motor. However, they have held up well without mechanical issues.
