These are expensive and have way too much blue. 20 bucks each tube.



They can be recycled...



And smashed...



15% blue only.

Lol...breaking flouros at work brought down a heavy hazardous waste fine on my last employer. They found us having sword fights with the old bulbs, freaked out and quarantined the area, had a haz mat crew come in and clean, haz mat crew had to report to the state because of mercury, state levied a fine. We could have just swept that shit up and put it in the trash...

LOL, that's exactly what we did once the sword fight was over.

Doesn't the distance from the Led to plant be the same no matter what size cob you're using?

Those little COBs can be very close to plants. Certainly much closer than the big ones.

So where do i get them are they screw and play or something that I have to wire up

Unfortunately, they're not exactly screw and play. You gotta screw them to a heat sink, connect to a driver and perhaps set up a fan. This isn't as difficult as it might sound.

It's all a trade off. CFL's are cheap & simple, while these COB's are more expensive and more difficult to work with in order to provide superior efficiency. You can learn a great deal in LED section if you want to give them a try.

I would love to try if its a upgrade, and have better results in more light penetration...this is my first time growing if u would check it out give me some feed back....
