Smell explosion after switching to organics

I just did a first trim of a Querkle and noticed a MASSIVE change in smell from the mother to this plants that was her clone. I did everything the same in the grow except one thing, i changed over to all organic nutes. I grow in coco and had been using GH nutes for a while now. Nice growth and decent flavor, but it seemed like the flavors were a little muted so I switched back to organic nutes.

So the Mother had the most purple Ive ever seen in any plants ive grown, purple throughout the flowers inside and out. The buzz from her was great and the colors were astonishing, the flavor seemed to be very lacking. She really had a dank, basement type of smell and taste. She was popular with my patients so I kept her genetics and took cuttings.

This second generation has been organic since day 1. Colors are just as bright even with the high summer temps. Growth seems equal to or better with the organics. The HUGE difference is in smell, this girl absolutely wreaks of grape gum. Im happy as hell, got Querkle strictly for a heavy grape taste, i didnt get it in the first run. Now after switching to Organic nutes the grape smell is over the top.

In Coco/Perlite/Worm Castings mix ive been feeding on a feed-feed-water schedule with the following nutes
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro
AN Iguana Juice (veg and bloom)
AN Nirvana
Alaskan Fish Emulsions
Hygrozyme (once a week)
Molasses (once a week)

The ONLY thing thats changed in my grow is the addition of worm castings to my coco mix and the switch to organic nutes, the difference in smell is unreal. Im absolutely shocked in the difference, I stopped trimming to come up here and post. Anyone else experience such a drastic difference after switching to organics?

Welcome to the dark side. Organic dirt is simply the best. I know some hydro guys that can out-yield me, but fuck them and their chemical flowers... :)

(no, really, I kid, I love my hydro guys. i just find myself having to be polite about flavor.)

How about flavor? Can you update us once you've given your nugs a little cure as to the flavor improvement, if any?

Thanks!

The biggest issue of synthetic vs organic for me was the clean white ash the organics like to burn to.

Thanks for the comments. I'll post an update after that Querkle is ready to go.

I did sample a nug of Plushberry that was also in that first all organic run. Huge flavor improvement, especially on the sweet flavor tones. Can't wait for the Q to be ready, I love me some grapes

that's because it's clean, instead of full of nutes still. That's one of the main things I look for when trying someones sample is the ash, and if it burns properly.
