Smell Question?!

Ok so my babies are still in VEG but they smell so damn SKUNKY! Could this give me hopes as to them being females or does dank smell not matter?? Also If they dont smell at all is that not a good sign?

Some strains are big smellers, other arent.

Usually they will stink more and more into flowering. Males dont really smelly flowers, although I guess in theory they too flower just that the smell isnt pungent.

weed stanks. all of it. ask my cable guy that wouldn't install my shit when i had 2 eventual males in the closet (no females, as it would become).

I was heading out to my spot today to take some pics actually until i stepped on my digi lol.. The only thing i can say is that most of them smell amazingly like good dank but arent showing that many signs yet except in the nodes there is a super super tiny green teardrop with what maybe looks like it may be a calyx but im not sure at all...I was thinkin about taking a clipping to force it but i think id rather wait...any ideas what this 'tear drop' could be?

Possible Male Pollen sacs.

Damn no good! lucky you had to throw them out anyways huh? Well I guess i'll just have to wait until I start seeing some preflowers!

But they look like they might have two little green hairs coming out of it...or do the pistils come out whitish yellow at the very first site?

yea, def not saying that only males stink. females stink too. growing weed just works the olfactory sense pretty well.

Uh-oh...well doesnt the calyx start out real small too?
