smells funny after harvest

i harvested about 6 days ago its looks killers tricromes were ready it seemed dry in about 4 days but it smells grassy i think the ol ladie says it just smelles it dose get you geeked but it smells very pungent

The smell/taste is chlorophyll(what makes the plant green), marijuana needs to be cured in order for the chlorophyll to release. The amount of time you should cure for is up to you, generally speaking the longer the better. If there is still moisture left in your buds you can still cure them. As there are many different methods I would recommend reading up on curing before your next harvest as to eliminate the chlorophyll smell/taste(some prefer the uncured/grassy taste).
