smells like hay till i squish it why?

I notice that smell on pre-mature buds---might have picked a week or two early---I agree with the curing as it is quoted out of the bible. Another thing you can do is use a grapefruit skin in the jar--I have some now blue dream taste a little like blu berries so I am curing in with grapefruit---amazing with a Vape. I also am growing some mint for the next cure I am gonna make a Newport Kush Menthol flavor. You read it here first!

i had that smell before also.i was forced to harvest my plants early , so they were chop a couple weeks early and they where still full of nutes. i think 1 of these is ur prob.

if you didnt flush proporly mate, it wont go away, jus remember to flush well for a couple of weeks water = 3 x pot capacity to keep it simple if youve got 10 litre pots flush 30 litres of water through the medium. This is usually sufficent enough and also dont water for as long as you can before harvest, this will also speed up the drying a bit. good luck mate

i had the same problem and i had to havest early and i only got to flush for 3 days
also because of this will it still give you a high or are the buds fucked now

still gets me high and i smoke alot

it smells that way because its not dried and cured yet...

Patience is key.. when growing. Patience my son...


It's also possible that you harvested your buds too early as well..
