I havent even started flowering and dont plan to for at least 2 more weeks but the room my plants are in already reek. (theyve been vegging approx 20 days)

i checked the Grow FAQ and unless i missed something i only saw something about how to make your own air filter (but all the picture links are dead).

what Im wondering is what i can BUY for odor control. i dont really feel like making something unless its some sort of really easy thing to make. I have limited tools as i am a girl and i dont build stuff. lol.

but what kind of filters that are realatively inexpensive can i use???

or if i missed something in the grow FAQ that would answer my question besides the how to section please lead me there wise ones!

Carbon filter the way to go, it really does take care of all your smell problems. If you only have one or 2 plants in process then get the smaller version. There is a larger more expensive version most people find to bulky in small areas. However, it will def. rid your area of any odors.

I have a 9.5 x 11 ft room with a window fan. I put a carbon filter (home depot) over the fan and it has cut down significantly on the odor).

Do you blow air over it? Right now I'm hanging a very small packet of activated carbon from a fan... but it's very small surface area.

you dont have too... The most efficient way to do it though is to get a bucket with a lid, cut a whole for a computer fan in the middle of the lid pointing up, then drill several holes around the lid for intake, obviosly as the fan is going to need to pull air from somewhere. Thats basically it. very simple and cheap.

carbon filters they fit on or can be made to fit on most exhaust lines there are many kick -ass strains out there that don't have any odor check all the strains out seed banks are a wealth of information regarding odor also "Big Book of Buds#s 1 2 &3 by E. Rosenthal has all the info one could ask for veg time,odor size,stone etc. good luck

True, such as C99. Great point, this is what stealth growers should look into and be aware of for sure.

idk what kinda grow ya have, you can easily make carbon scrubber for a duct fan. go to walmart: Get activated carbon Get big wash cloth Get duct fan, and duct Put duct together with duct fan. sew/stapple the washcloth into a pocket so it holds activated carbon duct tape several wash cloths to inside of duct... done.

sweet. they sell some stuff like that at the pet store. although its not the same it probably would work. its in a jar and its an odor remover. I'll try it. I just hope they have it in a scent besides fucking orange. god i hate orange scented stuff :spew:

Im a girl. this sounds too complicated!! I like stuff thats easy!
