Defective? Mine dont. Boiling water with a smoke alarm above it will set it off tho.

Carbon Monoxide?

Couldn't tell ya, my humidity is always in the 20-30 range it seems. I keep mine outside the tent also.

I'd be concerned about defective as KingBlunted said. Maybe condensation or small water particles in the air if too humid, something is triggering the sensor.

PS- I used to have a smoke detector in the hallway outside of the guest bathroom at an old house that would go off if you had a hot shower that put out a lot of steam.

PSS- you're probably going to burn your house down at some point

I just left the smoke detected out and installed a automatic fire extinguisher. It should basically do my whole grow room if it catches fire. Touch wood, hopefully it never needed.

They are heat or high rise smoke detectors then.. The high humidity affects the sensor much like hot steam would set one off. You can search for a different class detector or just move it to outside the door of the room it will still let you know if there is a fire inside

trust me I'm not going to have no fire, it's not anything to do with smoke or anything burning.. sorry I was already started this run or I'd mash on yall from the mt dew I put in it, but honestly who gives a shit if I prove it or not you all will never be able to smoke or taste it because you guys are a bunch of pussies

You complained about lack of quality in Michigan.

We Michiganders deal with shitty product from growers like YOU.

Thank god I grow my own and don't have to possibly be exposed to your dew schwag.

Carry on.
