I grew this strain and thought I'd give my opinion in case anyone was considering giving it a try. Enjoy.

Nirvana's Hindu Kush

Ordered direct from Nirvana

Veged approx 4 weeks - 14'' - 16'' tall under 600 watt MH & supplemental lighting

Flowered approx 91/2 weeks. approx 32'' tall under 600 watt HPS & supplemental lighting.

Ease of grow - One of the easiest plants I've grown.

Aroma - Very mild earthy aroma. Very low odor all the way to the end.

Flavor - I like the flavor of this plant. It tastes like dirt in the best way possible. Very earthy and herbal.

Yeild - Good yielder. Big fat and very dense cone shaped buds. When dried and cured, this plant smokes really well.

Potency - A good strong stoney high. Heavy enough for the daily smoker. Flower for 9 plus weeks for best results.

Over All Rating - 8.5 - I'll be keeping it around.

Comments - A good no non-sense smoke. Again, I really enjoyed the earthy flavor and heavy stone.

nice concise report
i'm kind of interested in the low odor, i wouldn't have thought this would be a low odor strain
kind of makes me wonder if this isn't part of the NL lineage, read a lot of different stories on NL's history

im growing hindu myself and they are 8.5 weeks into flower with about 10% amber trichs. what were your trichs at when you harvested?

man my hindu's are creeping along im 9 weeks in now and no change on the trichs there still 10% amber or less. do you know anyway of speeding up the prosses?

Then you should have plenty of light.

Sometimes you can cut your light hours back form 12/12 to 10/14.

The extra long dark period can speed up the ripening process.

Sometimes genetics vary slightly from year to year as well.

i was thinking about tricking the plants into thinking the year was getting short but i didnt know if it would work but now i think i will try that.

thanks for the help, not too many people grow hindu so i dont have a whole lot of people to get info from
