Smoke Sampling the Leaves

Hey everyone! I just wanted to make a post about my experience with smoking leaves right off the plant.

Many people claim that you need to dry your plant and all kinds of other unnecessary stuff to sample the high from your plant, but from what i've found, this isn't true. Sure, sampling right off of the plant is not going to be as good of a smoke or as potent as your final product, but you CAN get high from smoking off of the plant.

I have been on a tolerance break for 1.5 weeks, and today, i snipped 4 tiny leaves covered in trichomes to smoke. And when I say tiny, I mean TINY. I am growing a green-o-matic auto which is on day 49 so it is pretty close to harvest. As of now, the trichs are just now starting to show amber ones but they are very rare. I took the four tiny leaves, put them in a bowl, and smoked them. I didn't dry them or anything; I just smoked them wet. Needless to say, I felt like I was floating. I was definitely high.

The high was very cerebral with very little body load although i did feel a little heavier. Because I wasn't completely satisfied with the high, this has definitely swayed me from harvesting too early. I'll let the plant get a few more amber trichs before I harvest so I can feel more of a couchlock eventually.

So for anyone wondering, YES, YOU CAN SMOKE WET LEAVES STRAIGHT OFF THE PLANT AND GET HIGH IF THEY ARE COVERED IN TRICHOMES. It will not get you as high as if it were harvested and dried properly, but you can get a schwag-mid high.

Shadowman out.

Dude THE LEAVES DIDNT GET YOU HIGH. As you stated in your comment they were covered in trichomes. You would have gotten the same high if you scrape the trichomes off the leave and threw the leave away. Get you up a lot of trichs stick the all together roll into a ball and guess what.... You have a small hash ball. The tichs got you high NOT THE LEAVES.

i think he was trying to point out you can sample the buzz without all the prep work, so scraping the trichs sort of defeats the purpose. that's tedious and messy. smoking wet leaves is pretty harsh though. at least put them on the heater for a few minutes first.

yeah I'd heat them first but I hate how if you put them in the microwave it smells like garbage after you heat it. The smoke is pretty harsh, but it's not too bad bc the leaves I used were tiny.

leaves contain THC. most of the plant does with the exception of roots, it's just a question of how much, and how old (how long it has had to degrade). The trichs help, but by the idea that that's the only place you find thc is flat out wrong :)

There is no thc in a growing/living cannabis plant. Since we want to be technical. Trichomes are the sap that contain pure THCa. This sap known as trichomes on the exterior, runs through the whole plant. You will find this thca through the whole plant. Mostly concentrated in the flowers, sugar leaves and other leaves close to the bud. The fan leaves, stems and stalk however have the least concentration. You can only obtain thc through applying heat of upwards to 250degree Fahrenheit or above to thca compound. There is never thc in a living cannabis plant. If there is, you already smoked it. Enjoy this fresh iteration of technical correction folks. Stay educated

I’ll be willing to bet that if the OP is still alive he’s aware by now.
