Smokey's Platinum OG Kush 36 site Aeroflo

Hello everyone.

So I just finished growing this same strain at the end of December and it was the shit!! So I quickly pulled another round of clones, and decided to journal this time around.

Im growing in a GH Aeroflo 36. The machine is in a secret jardin dr150 tent. Lights 1000W lumatek digi, great white hood, 1/4hp chiller, and airstones. I just put the clones in the machine on Sunday, and I will flip to flower in a few more days.

Im using House and Garden nutes the aqua flakes line. I love this line of nutes, and use them in all my grows.

Next to the OG tent I have a Jack Herer grow going in the same system, same exact set-up, but they just began their fourth week of flower today. I havent flowered this strain in a long time. I grew it a while back and posted a journal on it...just kept the plant mothered or pulled a new batch of clones until now..I cant wait till its finished, it was amazing.

yeah the 36 sites are great! its a perfect fit for the two..Ive been using this same setup for years now..I love it! the only drag is it takes a lil more power to run the chillers, pumps, and all that good stuff...

Here is a budshot of the last crop of OG I grew..I only have about a half oz left..

in the jack herer tent there are 12 sites on the aeroflo that are vacant..I waited to long to put the clones in the machine, and lost a bunch. so thats why the tent doesnt look that full..i also have 3 sites vacant in the og tent.

Your plants all look good man. Going through my first aeroflo36 grow currently, loving everyday of it. Switched from soil and made the mistake of vegging too long and now their day 30 of flower and almost 3 feet tall. Same size tent, just need a hood like the one you have. Amazing the rate they grow. Did you lower it at all, or keep it high to stretch the plants?

Looking great man. I prefer soil. But love watching other setups. I may try hydro or aero in one of my next crops Donno. It's my first grow and even with the mistakes I've made and the multiple transplants to different soil and all the addition stress I've cause to my ladies they are growing beautifully

thanks man. yeah i learned too when you grow aero you veg for like 7-10 days max. and yeah i did lower the light a lil bit.

just went and checked on everything today..it's been a couple days since ive checked on them.. everything looks fine..i'll probably have 3 vacant spots, and maybe 1 or 2 plants that dont amount to shit..but it should be a good grow anyway!

i also snapped some pics of my buddies tent.. he is using a 36 site, but he is using two of my LEDs. this is going to be the first run that ive seen the LEDs used personally, if they are a success i have a total of 6 i will start using. this strain is GDP, and its in the middle of the 4th week.

What kind of yield are you pulling off one of your 36 sites when full or nearly full?

it all depends on strain..when i grew afgooey i pulled 1 3/4lbs, the gdp was 1 1/2lbs, and the og i just finished was a lil under a lb.

so we'll see this time around..i hope to get at least over a lb.

thanks man! yeah this shit was ridiculously good. the taste/smell/high was incredible! im gonna switch to flower today, so 10 more weeks!!
