Smokin a bowl with matches-> bad?

Im high as fuck man
but a wierd high.
are there chemicals in them that would make lighting a bong bowl bad?

If you inhale it right as you light the match it'll taste weird, you gotta light it and let it burn for 3 seconds, or after the initial flair up is done. idk about chemicals but theres probably some in the beginning

im domed out. i did wait a few seconds who knows. shit time is 1/3 slower when waiting for dominoes but not knowing if your roomate used the two for one coupon

Most matches contain red phosphorus and powered glass on the striker surface and potassium chlorate and antimony sulfide in the match head itself. Both can be toxic if fumes are inhaled at time of ignition. And it tastes like shit. Do yourself a favor...get a lighter

yea ive actually inhaled that shit by mistake
tasted like ass crack and i vomitted almost instantly
didnt feel high or weird though
maybe its a strain your not familiar with?
ive noticed that wen on regular dosages of robitussin and sudafed
that i feel weird and out of place after i smoke of course

i use matches all the time. i sometimes notice a light heady ness when i use paper rather than wood matchs. time to do some testing ::

Before I had a soldering iron I would use wooden matches if I wanted a really clean hit. I would light the match, wait for all of the initial flare down, and let it burn horizontally till the flame was burning only wood and then corner the bowl.

Lighters taste awful.

I now only use BeeLine hemp line dipped in bees wax. One of the fellow rollitup'ers recomended it and i been stuck ever since.
