Smoking out of a tobacco pipe?

:!: I'm a new member and Idc to check around for already answered threads, since some of my questions may be different than popular one's. Anyways....

These two pipes that I "found" appear to be ceramic or glass. They're ancient, and they have metal pieces. One of them has a small hole on the bottom and I don't know what that's for. Could I use this to smoke weed? If so, tell me how to pack it/smoke it. Thanks in advance.
 
Not a bad idea, really. Wow, what a lame thread this was. Idk why I didn't think of that... But thanks I think i will! But still though, how would I be able to use it?
 
They are opium pipes, Thialand or Vietnam, but definately Asian. Quite common, ceramic with Silver moputhpieces. Not cheap !i
 
I'm surprised you said that you knew that they were Thai. It belongs to my Thai step-mother. But anyways, you said that if I smoke out of them the value is next to nothing, what does that mean?
 
They look to be new and not used. If you smoke from them, they will be used and not even close to what new and un-used would be worth. They are hand crafted and top of the line paraphanilia. If you plan to sell them, don`t smoke from them.
 
They aren`t worth a whole lot of money but are not cheaply made. they will last forever if you don`t drop it. If you get $50 for the pair, you did well !i

It's like a China doll... If you take it out of the box, it devalues it, just like a pipe, if you use it, the value decreases. Same with cars, as soon as you buy a new car from a dealership, the price drops by two thirds as soon as it's left the dealership.
 
Didn't really see any prices on pipes. They look around 20 dollars. I think I'll put one of them up so I could try the other one once. Does that sound like a good idea? I'd like to sell both of 'em for a cheap bowl/bong.
