There is a heating element inside the unit that creates hot air, it's adjustable. The hot air passes over the weed and vaporizes the resin, which you inhale.

THC converts to Delta9, which gets you high when heat is applied. It does this around 230 degrees. If you were to add more heat the plant matter would combust and make smoke. Vaporizeing "burns" only the THC and not the plant matter reducing the amount of combusted chloroflorocarbons, which are known to cause cancer. Any organic matter, when burned, creates chloroflorocarbons.

No sane doctor would tell you to inhale smoke from anything, so a vaporizor is the closest you can get to not inhaleing smoke, and still getting the same results.

You could make your own vape with a heat gun from the hardware store, all you need is an adjustable heat gun and a laser temperature reader to make sure you've got the right temp, you can use your homemade vape on any of your existing pipes/bongs. ;)

Was it confusing? Or is that a compliment?

Should I make a DIY thread about making your own vape for under a hundred bucks?

:bigjoint:

you should make you own diy thread for "how to make a home-made vaper with things around your house!"

and it was a compliment. id rep but i rep to much apparently

Easy, around the house, get a lightbulb, if it's not a clear appliance bulb, get the powder coating off by shaking some salt around inside, use a lighter on the outside of the glass to heat the material inside, insert a straw and suck out the smoke as soon as it appears, when it starts smoking, take the lighter off, or you'll burn it, and not vape it.

Otherwise shell out 60 bucks for a heat gun, and 15 bucks for a laser temp reader.

You can find them at auto parts stores. The heat gun is normally used to shrink wrap auto wiring, or apply tint to windows, and the laser themometer is for checking tire temperatures after a race.

I thought this would be common knowledge here. :bigjoint:
