So, last week i changed my lock on my front door @ my appartment, i dont like the idea they have/had a key, so i changed it... but anyways, today i got a notice on my door about my changing of lock w/out there approvial!? But, how the fuck would they know that unless they had tried the lock or something, is there anything i can do about this?
i plan on moving out after this lease is up, its bullshit... thanks for any advise RIU, :peace:

Ask them why they were trying to get in your apartment without giving notice.You should of left the locks the same and set a cam up and took his ass to court if he went snooping around in there without notice.

i was under the impression they were not allowed in unless its an emergency, otherwise they need to give a 24hour notice of inspection.
edit:besides that. i didnt say shit about growing in my apartment, infact i said im gald i dont have one. its a privacy issue

Most apartments have to give you 12-24 hour notice. But really feel out your landlord. I've been living in an apartment for 1 1/2 years, as long as I`m paying on time the Landlord never shows up.,

I once had to remove the lock on the door of my apt since we were locked out. My neighbors ratted me out for doing it. Luckily my roommate's dad was lawyer and straightened that shit out.

ha, i have no neighbors, next to me, or below me. so, the only way they would know is if they had tried to unlock it themselfs...
