Big Update + Trichome Shots!

I took pictures through a jewlers loupe. The girls are starting to look really good, the flowers are fattening as well. More resin is being produced and they've drunken all the nute solution. I know its been less than 2 weeks since the last time I topped off, but added 2 more gallons tonight. and doubled up on the AN big bud they seem to love it.

buds are lookin good man, love the snow white strain. I ordered some along with papaya, nypd, aroura. I also got some tangarine dream from barneys. Cant wait to get growin again

awesome man, first time growing this strain in these conditions.

Anyone have any idea how much longer I have for flowering? its CFL.. so im guessing im going to have to add some time, im almost at week 5 from pistils i believe. I'm curious to find out when this strain is going to ripen.. I hear they grow substantially during the last few weeks. Any thoughts?

**UPDATE**

Buds are starting too get a bit bigger, had to feed them again. Seems like im feeding them once a week - they are destroying about 3 gallons of nutrient rich water. I've got maybe 5% Orange hairs on some of the buds.. The smaller plant is obviously stunted from when the top cola burned a bit from cfl's. It looks like its regrown, but it does not look anywhere near as far along as the plant in the back. they both started from seed at the same time.

What do you guys think?

I would say u have between 3-5 weeks. just a geuss.

Im jealous! snow white is the one damn nirvana strain i havent got to try yet. i have white rhino, chrystal, medusa, etc. i just know id love the snow white. I wish i knew the major difference in genetics between white rhino, snow white, and medusa. they are all widow/indica mixes. which r great IMO! i just harvested some Blue widow from dinafem. widow is one of my fav lines.

Yeah man I can't believe how well these are growing under cfls. One thing about this strain that I've noticed as well is that they are surprisingly resilient to stress! I don't own a ppm meter so I've been pretty much winging it and going off of PH. Also using tap water. I'm pleased with the results so far and am in the process of switching to hps if I can find a kit that's not overly expensive (also open to used or gifted

). I started with 4 and kept 2 girls, the other two I cut into clones which I have set aside, because they got shaded out by these two. Lesson learned though, will either have to buy and drill a new lid for my res to spread them out more or just stick to 2 at a time in that box. _______ btw the girls haven't smelled the entire grow, and this morning i woke up and they smell super dank

10/10! I think i've given them their last full strength nute feed tonight 2 gallons of full strength 1 gallon of PH'd water. should hopefully last a week and a half or two... plan on only giving water after this runs out. Thoughts? or should i do one more regular feed after this?

Will be doing an update today

the ladies are really starting to fill out. The smaller of the two is the one who's top cola got burned on the lights, new growth has since covered the burn, but its growth was severely stunted. Lesson learned, I may just leave that one going for an extra week or so. Getting excited, its almost that time! The buds are maturing and oozing with tricomes, the maturest buds have 35% red hairs.

I see a really nice blue tint is coming out in the plants ! I'm hoping my plant will start to bring out more of the colour's soon with the Canadian fall weather! (gets under 50-40F at night outside, normally 43 °F or so ) So makes the cab really nice and chill compared to summer and my first half of my grow.. So far I got some really nice purple/deep blue in the stock, and all the stems but not leafs lol... Also if your eerie about switching to HPS, trying going right to LED. Really doesn't cost much more then a HPS kit... and puts out basically zero heat! and more of the spectrum the plants are looking for.... That's what I'm debating on spending the money for a 500W blackstar LED. Hell I make the money back off it with 1 crop

Ahh the blue tint probably from the different temperature lights i'm using? mixing other temps into the 2700 to fill out the spectrum, the plants are absolutely loving it. One of these buds is humungous and looks like its about ready to come down. but im going to give it another 2 weeks or so, the smaller girl is gonna stay under the lights for a bit longer i think. I hear led's are great, but they end up doing funky things to the plants and yield suffers? could be wrong. i'm willing to try it, but i really don't wanna spend a few hundred on a kit
