just wondering if any growers around here that have grown Snow White.. how many of you liked it?
how did yours taste? how long did you flower it for? did you use all organics? grown in soil/hydro?
reason I'm asking for other growers experiences with the strain.. is because I just smoked half a bowl of mine.. which has been curing for about a week. The taste isn't as good as I thought it would be.. but I'm sure it'll get better with letting the lower part of the plant go another 2 or 3 weeks.. surely by then the terpenes should be much more mature, therefore giving the plant an even sweeter taste to it. It's got a very strong resinous taste to is..not really sweet tasting.. not too sweet.. yet sweeter than mild.. is the best way I can describe it.
The first set of calyx's and their pistils have all wilted/receded back into the buds for the most part.. then suddenly all the buds spewed out a whole new set/pack of calyx's with brand new white pistils. This happened around a week to 9 days ago.. and now, most of those new hairs are starting to turn brown and wilt.. so i think this time, for the second half of the plant.. before I harvest the second half.. I'm going to let ALL the pistils (at least 95%) of them wilt and recede back into the calyx's.
I'm happy with the results though.. pretty good for being mid-grade. It's def. not high grade bud.. not IMO. There's local high grade buds floating around town.. and let me tell ya, the stuff that's around town.. is def. some 'one hitter quitter'.. pure Indica though I think.. so that helps with the potency too.
anyhow, if you want.. share your experience with the Snow White strain from Nirvana.
