So Cal Outdoor Winter Season grow

Put these gals outdoors end of January/beginning of February when light was less than 12 hours a day. Before that they were under 24 hours of light. Most seem to be flowering fine, days are obvi getting longer tho so i hope they finish. Of the 75, 10 were pollinated, hopefully carefully enough to not pollinate any the others.. Ill be chopping them around april i think, and will let them all reveg til October unless they seem week or to replace them with other strains/larger plants. Should be about 10-15 strains out there right now, don't remember atm  Last season i attempted to stay organic but was conviced by a friend to use some chemical nutes. These have been all organic minus the first few weeks of veg, hopefully being completely organic from flower on counts for something. Soil mix is comprised of ~1500 gallons green compost, ~600 gallons coco coir, ~100 gallons sphagnum moss, 215 lbs local EWC, few hundred gallons perlite, ~750 gallons of recycled soil from last grow (same mix) and a wee bit of dolomite lime. I let it mix and cook in the sun for weeks, soil was steaming hot every morning and got turned everyday atleast once.

Started with no more than 99 plants obviously as that is all my doctor recommends for my personal use but i did remove many males that originated from seeds. The remaining ~75 plants are probably half from clone half from my seeds are are all doing well. 6 of the 75 had a much longer reveg, and were put into flower and back into veg, and are considerably bigger. 2 of the six big ones are yellowing much faster and losing more leaves than the rest. Gave them extra nutrient tea and have been topdressing them, as well as all the other 4 larger ones, with the ammendments used to make my tea.

I water these guys once to twice a week by hand with nutrient tea. I throw bat guano, compost, powdered kelp extract, molasses, EWC, EWC juice from my worm buckets, and water from my fishtanks for the bacteria, micronutrients, and slight nitrates/ites. Bubble it for 72 hours, used to use it as foliar after 48 but stopped once flowers started filling in.

My location is very secure and safe. I know all of my neighbors, and we all look out for each other. I have been visited by several forms of law enforcement including local police, ICE, daily helicopters (from a few branches of law enforcement) and some not so sneaky undercover cops. I got no stresses legally, I am within my personal limits and strictly supply medical dispensaries with any extra. Dont ask me for anything, you won't get it from me.

And i have no worries from rippers, anyone who knows me knows why and we will leave it at that. Also turns out some home insurance companies will insure your medical marijuana, anyone who doesn't have the protection i have should invest $300 in some home insurance, i asked my company several times without my name, then again setting up my policy, and made sure i was emailed from them confirming it would be covered.

I am about to setup a 6.5'x6.5'x6.5' grow tent to start vegging my next set, to replace the weaker ones outdoors and some will be flowered indoors in the tent under a 1000w HPS and possibly a 125w CFL. In about two months i will be getting a 2nd grow tent of similar size and will get a closet setup for keeping mothers. Stay tuned, comments and advice always appreciated.

gotta love cali ganjamanotie

Everything seems to be flowering fine despite days getting longer, there is about 11:40 of darkness, so little less than 12 hours of darkness. Some are way closer to finishing than others, I think ill be able to chop some in a couple weeks. Most trichomes are cloudy and some amber is present on some plants. Some of the bigger plants have tons of preflowers but havent reaaly

*But haven't really filled in. Im going to cover the bigger plants and ones that need additional flowering either right before sunrise for an hour or an hour before sunset. Hopefully i can chop some of these in a week or two. Most will probably need a few weeks.

I also have one plant from seedling that has done basically nothing since being transplanted outside to flower. Plants from the same seeds have doubled and are showing nice flowers. This gal hasn't grown more than a 1/4" in height since its transplant, but has started to show hairs and preflower. Any ideas why? Retarded genetics? Or maybe rootbound from not cutting the old rootball before transplanting? Screen Shot 2014-03-27 at 10.25.00 AM.png

invest in a harbor freight greenhouse and trick the light with black tarp and cheap spiral flourescent lights and youl get fire all year round

TigerChan I have made my own greenhouses before, but i feel like they are more work than they are worth where i am located. They get way too hot the majority of the year, require more ventilation, reduce light, and need to be moved for the 8+ months i wouldn't be using it. But I have seen great results with greenhouses where it gets colder during fall and winter
