and we know where that gets me.

Guess it's time to bring the thread over hear since the grow room is damn near done (yeah right).

DWC in Igloo coolers. 2-1000 watt lights, and lots of fresh air. 12 stones in each cooler except for the little one, she only gets 8.

So I put the girls up in the scrog little over a month ago. Damn if they ain't just digging life with ol' Boomer. 3 girls going with 8 babies in the bullpen.

Damn, life is good and only getting better,,,,,,

Wow, I love seeing the extreme difference in growth like that. I was just looking over some of the pics of my girls when they were seedlings on my laptop, then turned around and looked at the now 7 week flowering versions of them.

I must say Boomer, it looks like 3 plants is going to give you a decent yield. Looking good man. Keep the updates coming.

Hey I thoroughly enjoyed reading your previous thread and I had to come over here and pull up a chair so that I don't miss anything. Keep up the great work and keep them great ideas, stories and pics coming.

Peace.

and I thought I'd share some more of what don't work for me.

And if ya want to throw grief my way for saying this, go ahead.

These three nutes are pure crappola. All three are full and for sale if ya want em. Worst money I ever spent. Live n Learn as they say.

A table top of tasty buddage.

And LEDs? Never again, thank you very much.

The nutes I do use get flushed out to my Cactus. I think she likes it Mikey.

That LED system was a complete FAIL.

I'm using a little something something that works great in my situation.

I'm sticking to the KISS method, hell when I was outdoors I used to feed my plants roadkill. Birds, possum snakes, mice. I even came home once with a bunch of barracuda. Just have to bury them deep enough to avoid the smell.

This is the shizzle for me. $30 bucks each and they both are still about half full.

The girls really eat this stuff up.

The roadkill fed my outdoor girls for 4 years. They thrived!

Thats a 9 ft wall behind the girls.

Roadkill.

Yeppir. I swear it was the most radical fertilizer I have ever used. Every two weeks I'd bust out the pellet rifle and make a sweep of the power lines and drop twenty or thirty of them little nuthatches or finches or whatever the hell they are and I'd bury them 2 feet down next to the plant. Possums stood no chance against the mighty Beeman RS2 in .22 cal. in this ol' Grunts hands.

Man, screw the embalming, when I go out plant my ass in a SOG! My outside grows were phenom and I give all the credit to them little critters.

Appeased Red with a little of the V-day trappings. She woke up this morning to a bacon panenkoeken. I included a pic or two. Try one of these bad boys and you'll throw Bisquick out the window. After b-fast I handed her the obligatory card and then completely out of character I gave her some roses. Red reads the card, looks at the roses and says to me,,,,,

"What'd you do now" and "How much did it cost",,,,,,,,,,,,,

Did I really need a new kicker motor for the boat? Yeah, I do. Nothing like being 100 miles offshore and the main diesel goes out on ya.. Been there, met the Mexican Navy and did not enjoy the encounter one bit. Coasties had to intervene to get the bastards off my boat. But thats another story,,,,,,,

Didn't take fresh pics of the panenkoeken today but these two pics were recent,,,,

Looking good Boomer. Been meaning to ask, what week are you in flower right now? Also, what strain(s) are you growing in there?

This is the beginning of week 3.

1 strain and 1 strain only. We've been working her for a coupla years now. Remember that Perfesser I mentioned? He told me if I ever told anyone the name
he'd burn my house down. So yeah I could tell ya, but then we'd have to move in with ya cause the Perfesser don't play.

I knew you were in Socal from your outdoor pics. I have lived down here off and on since I was born (born in Riverside). Bounced back and forth between SoCal and Norcal (mainly Gold Country..yep them hills where James Marshal found gold) all my life.

To give you an idea of where I am at...Tijuana isn't very far. I am noticing there are a lot of Socal growers on here...do we have our own sub forum on here yet? Anyone know?

Whoa!

Starting the 3rd week of flower and my babies are starting to aromatize the yard.

3rd week! :hump:

Guess it's time to set out the decoys.

LMAO...you really got skunk decoys? That would be funny as all hell if ya did. Might be a little odd when that same skunk doesnt move for like 3 hours though.

You don't have a filter/air scrubber system set up?

Skunk decoys. LMAO. No i don't.

I'll catch hell for saying this but I'm not really concerned about the smell. Neighbors are good w/me cause I'm the block Captain and am home most of the time watching everyones house's. I have multiple cameras set up around my yard that also look up and down the street. I have motion sensors front and back and my concrete wall is topped in broken glass shards.

But the best thing I have going for security are the dogs. They only like one person and that's Red. Hell, the way they see it, if your in the neighborhood walking down the street they think you are going after her and raise hell. Little bassturds even bark at me!

Good fences/walls make for good neighbors.

And screw 911, I dial up 000-Buck.

I used to grow 60 to 90 plants out in my back yard for years and only ever worried about the copters flying over EVERY day. No more than a thousand feet up. Some have been so low I could see faces in the cockpit.

thinking cap on.lol
?????
Thoughts are dangerous, especially mine. Red does her best to keep mine to a minimum.

ain't gonna work though,,,

Trying to find the picture of the last gentleman from south of the border who thought he could siphon diesel from my truck. That plan went to hell when the dogs jumped through a window screen and ran him down .

LAPD came over and found me standing on his chest with the 12g to his throat.
No english, no papers, here illegally.

I gotta move soon. Too much bullshite here in SoCal anymore.

and I just read some comments sent my way. Wanted to thank those that took the time to drop a line. Yes sir. Now as Red will remind me every so often, it is indeed true. I don't know it all. Know a lot about a lot and even more about a few, but not all.

I remember that very first Lid back in 69, 3 fingers for $15.00. Could've started a farm with all them seeds. Coulda built a bird house out of the stems and when we did finally get a joint rolled that held together long enough to get a drag on it was a fight to keep the damn cherry on the end of the friggin J.

Dayum.

So sometimes I say to myself, "Damn Boomer, what the hell did you get into here, son?"
Sheeeeit or as I like to say the days, shiite! But anywho, I digress.

I've grown outdoors for years. Some stealth and some out in the open. Matter of fact I was walking Red's entourage for the afternoon stretch and spied a few primo spots to drop some seeds. And no, the Police Station ain't one of em'. (Though the rebel in me says do it).

I loved being a dirt farmer! Had it's draw backs but it was fun!. Switched to the dwc inside a year ago and I can't believe what I've seen, learned and experienced inside. The growth rate for one. Unreal.

Third week of flowering the girls and they drink a gallon and a half of water a day!

enjoy the evening my friends,

I got the wall.
