so i had this idea for a space saving high yield low stress grow

so what you need to do is build a custom tomatoe stand that funnels out as it goes allowing for maximum light coverage and space conservation
side not i'd recommend lollipopping

please let me know what you think

i dont think so srog is when you drop a screen or a net over it to stunt upward growth this allows maximum veg and no netting or screens. this is more related lst like this but more stretched out

There's an old thread around with an lst grow that spirals like that. But yours seems to climb as it spirals, this one stayed at "ground" level (even though it was in dwc). It was 2 or 3 plants that covered at least a 5x5 area. No question a more horizontal than vertical grow can yield more.

yah i saw that thread it was a bit of an inspiration to me i'm planning on starting my test grow with this technique after i harvest my first yield

I thought of this a while ago. Might try it in a few grows. I mean, if ya look at it, it does seem like a really great idea. When you analyze it though, the buds up top are going to get so big, they will block the light from the lower buds, essentially rendering this as effective as an untrimmed SCROG. No doubt it could be built upon and further refined though. For example, create a slanted cage like this / and tie the plant up to that. It won't save vertical space, but it will allow the light to hit each and every bud site, and there will be no chopping required to the plant... although advanced grow techniques would likely increase yield.

Sorry for wall of text :p
