So I have a question for a mates plant???

So me mates got a s.s.h going just one in a 2 by 2 tent with a dimable 250 to 600 hps which he leaves manly on the four .he’s growing in coco and asked me my feed schedule when I told him he said fuck bro my plant drinks fuck all so my question is why...and when he says fuck all that’s what it means he’s feeding it once a day but only 2 litres a feed and that lasts all day till the next night but if he feeds again he gets signs of over water ..his ph temp ...ect,,.is all in order ..I’m new to coco to but I find my plants suck up the water like nuts ..I’m just about to flip mine..so I’m wondering is this just a strain thing or wtf ..nutrient lockout...options please as I said I’m new to coco too so ..I’m a bit unsure ..I told him to check everything’s good he said he did so not sure the one other thing is he verged it a lot longer being new to coco and also still picking things up with the growing..

You can't overwater in coco so don't worry about that. What size pots you usingand are they air pots or real pots?

I have been watering mine once a day for 10 mins in 30 ltr pots. And sometimes I have to manually water to get some run off.

You should be getting run off every day if you do this.

I just started a new run and this time in watering 5vtimes a day for 2 mins. Apparently its meant to be better.

Main point you both need to understand is coc is hydroponics.... not soil. Ot needs to stay wet and cant be over watered.

Wow... that looks like a pain in the ass that plant. Have you flipped to flower yet? If you haven't you might need a major haircut before you do.

he flipped it two weeks ago bro this was just before he gave me that leaf..I told him to trim it..it’s a beast lol he’s trippen out a bit coz it’s starting to stretch lol gunna be kissing the light lol but for some reason. It dlesnt drink a lot at all

Forget how much it drinks... thats not a thing in coco... you need to water til 20% run off every day or you will get salt buildup and then it will burn.

Stretch will end on day 23ish. At that point he can lollipop up to about half way and remove a load of branches to leaf some main stems... pull the tops down with a trellis.

These girls over vegged and I have managed to stop the stretch by keeping it cooler up to day 23. Now they are in full flower and not stretching anymore im pulling the temp up to get them to boost flowering.

Cheers for the advice bro I’ll let him now..where both new to coco I’m a lil bit more evolved with mine so can do bit more research ..cheers for advice ITL let him now....it’s good to now when ITL stop stretching lol it’s getting out of hand but where onto it now
