So I live by a dairy and a field of free cows...

It hasn't rained in over a month.. probably more than 2.. but it is VERY misty in the morning..

Should I even bother going shroom hunting if it has not rained?

Weather conditions = 80's - 90's lately, misty mornings, no rain.

I've got a cow pasture nearby as well, actually a few...dozen...It's been hot and dry here for the past 2 or 3 weeks but now it's cooled off considerably with 3 days of intermittent showers. Maybe during the next few days I'll poke around just for the hell of it, not going to eat any wild 'shrooms since I don't know much about mycology...If I find any I'll put up some pics for ya...

ah ok :) I'll have to wait it out, I've never hunted before.. I plan to gather them up, not the characteristics, take a spore print and make a thread on shroomery.org

as long as we are on the subject of finding shrooms i was wondering if there any good fields in the area of northcarolina..

I miss it back in illinois where i wouldnt have to ask such a question.
