So... I messed up a little

so the temperature of the alcohol has been stabilized @ 170 deg which makes sense because this is alcohols boiling point

the water temp wont go past like 190 which makes sense because the alcohol is cooling it off
its been a while im thinikijng of turning it off

to do an experiment here for fun. while the water is still hot in the pot i will combine some of my hash tincture with some of my vegetable glycerine. ill do a 2:1 ratio of glycerine to alcohol and heat it up hopefully to a little warmer then add some stuff to make instant gummies

So i ended using this recipe loosly. This is from the website vocanotips.com just so i'm not stealing the information!

• 6 Fl Oz Vegetable Glycerin Cannabis Tincture
• 2 Fl Oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
• 1 Tablespoon Lemon Extract
• 4 Packets Unflavored Gelatin

with the tincture still hot, i portioned out 5 fl oz glycerine to my 2-3 oz of hash tincture and added the rest of the ingredients as asked. I also added a little bit of honey hopefully to compensate for the lack of a little bit of gelatin in the ratio.
I didnt think things were hot enough so after pouring them into the tin i left it in an oven for 5 minutes at 200, then shut it off for five minutes, and put it into the refrigerator hopefully to stiffen things up.
I just tried one, the consistency is nice and gummy! the citrus and honey overrides the alcohol and you cant even taste the everclear because of the gelatin almost like a jello shot. I am impressed and just ate one to see how strong it is!
I imagine i will have to cut one of these up if its very strong for other people to try lol, I hope everything was activated here because the gummies came out at a great consistency!

I'll post pictures tomorrow when i pull the stuff out of the tin and do an effects report !

Fun experiment!

Posting pics again tomorrow lol i been drinking tonight. The gummies worked but maybe i should have cooked the alcohol a little less time and tested it I went to bed last night and couldn't feel my body and very low psychoactive effect. I have been giving them out to people to see how they like it

Sorry i never ended up posting pics or anything I forgot. But the gummies werent that potent they gave me a slight buzz. I decided to evaporate the alcohol back out and re use the hash after decarbing in my oven. Everclear boils out at 173.1deg F.

Next time I will decarb my hash before adding it to make a tincture rofl. What a waste of everclear and time..
