cannabis will affect everyone differently ive been smoking nearly every week since i was 14 im now 21 so i guess that counts as long term and the only probs it gave me was having no money but now i grow my own so that probs gone!

I havent smoked for 2 months now and the only thing that I have noticed is lack of short term memory. Maybe it's just me though. Im sure it will come back.

I remember better when I'm high. Herb tends to balance me over all can't really think of any negative effects. Maybe I spend more money on food . . .

I'm a 15 year veteran smoker & a 1 year+ grower so I could probably give some pointers. I do agree with an earlier post that it affects everyone differently, but there are some general things. I want to also note that these side effects are very mild & often the benefits of herb usage outweigh the negatives.

Short-Term Memory(only with regular use...if you stop for a little it will come back)
Pyschological Addiction(other then trouble sleeping when you first quit smoking after awhile there are no distinctive physical symptoms I've noticed)
Economic Lack Of Concern(ex.- You buy herb before you pay certain bills)
Finally I've noticed that Cannabis is such a mind opening substance that it can cause difficulty dealing with society...what I mean by this is that you often will find that regular users are extremely dissatisfied with society & kinda don't fit in. This is simply a result of the unbalanced world we live in...like NewGrowth said "Herb tends to balnce" in my opinion.

Well said man, I think this sums it up pretty well. The memory thing only happens to me if I smoke much more than usual.

I think it's affected my memory a little bit, but ... other than that, it's not really had any negative complications. I just have to check myself sometimes. ^^

I smoked everyday for 10 years ( like 2 joints a day, sometimes blunts) and i never had any memory problem or never
been addicted, besides if you think being addicted means not able sleeping for 3-4 days...

Sometimes i'll smoke weed instead of doing school work. I justify it by saying I wouldn't be doing homework even if I wasn't high, but smoking pot makes it too easy to escape responsibility. As well, I've always been fairly intellectual/dissatisfied with society and its problems and like someone said before, weed kind of contributes to that attitude in a way.

Quit cold turkey and you will see the extent of your addiction.

cold turkey? what? lol
i haven't smoked in 2 months... never found a dealer ever since I moved.
Did you cut down your usage before you moved?

If you are smoking heavily, and quit on a days notice, then you will go through withdrawals. I'm talking actual withdrawals, not just the sleep bullshit.

Cold sweats, anxiety, erratic mood, "fiending"

I have related to all your symptoms of being a pot smoker all day every day for the past 6 years.. I now think what I could have spent my money on and had by now... I have also became very anti social and paranoid of the public,
