so many grower's have posted buds in week 5 or 6 and clamed there only 2weeks

Yeah, pretty sure it was a joke, my son grows with hps, I've grown with both LED's and this CMH which is blowing me away how fast it flowers and have never seen any plant that developed at 14 days after the flip. great looking plants but they're 3-4 weeks into 12/12 for sure. Otherwise I want whatever lighting he's using

Yeah, lol, saw his post on Sept 2nd they were 3 weeks in, so he's 5 weeks in now, nice plants but they look about right for 4-5 weeks in.

When I grow from seed, which is 90% of the time,I scope for preflowers week 3-4 of veg, when I see them formed I usually flip and start counting right away. I think when folks count from when they feel they see flowers forming is a lot more inaccurate, but that's just my opinion man

Not sure why, not like it's a contest, just a guide for finishing a strain, would be good if folks posted accurate times and lighting used for comparison only, even then, it's all strain/method/lighting dependent. I like to track it accurately, that way if I make a change in method or lighting I can use a clone as a control and track repeatable results.

i count as soon as 12/12 myself and then around 35-40 am always scratching my head thinking I swear this thing stacks sooner? Then ten days later I unbunch my panties and realize that's how they do every run. I have a couple cuts that will stack pretty buds & start to cola up from about 28 days on but usually I do not see the real filling in on a 9-10 week strain untill week 6 onward

That's why I'm anal about logging everything and getting pics at different stages. If I don't log it, it didn't happen, specially when sampling my wares

I have started flowering 24 days ago with 6 plants under 2 600 watt HPS lights. I'm started growing last November, but thought you only count days from 12/12 switch? Here are pics from yesterday of THC bomb and Big Blue Cheese. Should I take a week or two off my flowering count?

Again, it's only a guide so there's no real right/wrong, although if you add a week to 10 days from the start of 12/12, it tends to come close to the breeder's stated finishing time.
