So I decided to move my thread about my grow over in General Marijuana Growing to here because I will be updating it frequently.

Hello all, long time reader first time poster. I just started my second grow last week on the 13th. Here is my setup and some pics of my babies on the 13th when I transplanted them from the starter rock wool cubes, and today the 22nd. I have 3 Dutch Passion, 2 UK Cheese, and 1 LA Confidential, all from clones from the club:

  • Closet is about 5' wide x 3' deep x 5.5' high.
  • Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil mixed 2 parts to one part perlite.
  • Fox Farm Liquid Nutrient Trio Pack and Soluables Trio Pack once I start flowering. Mixed in a 5 gal bucket with aquarium pump for circulation and air flex hose. 7 stage R/O water.
  • Foliar feed made with high nitrogen worm castings and liquid kelp extract and Coco-Wet for a wetting agent/surfactant.
  • Blue Mountain Organics Super Plant Tonic for root inoculent.
  • Two circulation fans, one oscillating on the floor and one mounted at the top of closet. 4" inline fan attached to carbon filter venting into storage cabinet above closet.
  • Temps go from 72F-85F depending on the time of day and humidity fluctuates between 40% and 65%.
  • Right now I'm under two 108w 10,000 lumen 4' High Output T5's each with one 6,400k grow and one 3,000k bloom bulb bought from HTGSupply.com
  • I will be using a 400w HPS for flowering.
  • Lights are running 18/6.

When I am ready to go into flowering I am going to take the two best looking plants and set them up in a different veg room I am currently constructing.

First 6 pics of plants are Dutch Passion, next 2 is LA Confidential, last 4 are UK Cheese

Please feel free to leave comments and suggestions.

Grow on,
Nic

Thanks! Yeah, Rollitup has pretty much been my life for the past month. Been reading everything I can get my hands on as well as watching every grow video torrent that's available.

Here is the reverse osmosis system I got off of ebay from Costreef:

http://cgi.ebay.com/7-stage-100GPD-RO-3X-DI-Reverse-Osmosis-Water-Filter_W0QQitemZ120433200124QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSmall_Kitchen_Appliances_US?hash=item1c0a60cbfc&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A30

Just wondering if anybody has this model and if so what your thoughts on performance is and what the TDS of your water is after using?

I've added a second CO2 generating unit to my setup with a new, beefier, gas separation chamber. I also started LST my 4 plants that are going to go into flowering in about a week. The other two will most likely only be topped right before I move them into their new veg room to become mothers.

A few of the fan leafs on all of my plants are browning. It Isn't on any new growth so I'm wondering if it might be from over fertilization with my foliar feed.

Here are some pictures:

Chill man, post a link if you start a journal.

I just began the dark cycle to put them into flower. How long should I let them sleep for? I was planning on going 48h.

Here are some pics of the veg room I just set up for my mothers and clones. After this first run I'm most likely going to be putting my rooted clones directly under 12/12 and go with a perpetual budsicle style grow. The first pick is the outside of the veg room, next are is the mothers (Dutch Passion on the left, UK Cheese on the right), then some clones I took yesterday, and finally the only clone I took from LA Confidential, hopefully it will root well and I can make it my third mother.

I'll post some new picks of the 4 going into flower once the dark cycle is over on sunday at noon.

Bump

Anybody have any suggestions as to how long I should keep them in the dark before my first 12/12?

Ok, so I just woke my babys up after having them in the dark cycle for 48 hours. Here are some pics of them. It looks like there is a nitrogen deficiency going on, should I fertilize them right now or should I wait till my soil is more dry because the soil moisture meter says they are still at about 7 on the moisture scale? Any reply's are greatly appreciated.

Keep it green

Here are some picks I took just now. Day 6 of flowering. When should I first start seeing signs of bud formation?

Ok so here are my 4 plants that are flowering now. They have been on 12/12 for 10 days now. The first pic is the 4 flowering plants (2 Dutch Passion #1, 1 LA Confidential, 1 UK Cheese) the second is a pic of 4 dutch passion rooted clones in rockwool that I transplanted 2 days ago. I am going to be following this forum from now on and growing my plants SoG style. The next few pics are the terminal/apical bud sites on a coupple of the plants and finally there is a pic of some clones I took today. Comment, rate, appreciate.

Peace
