As a Social Media Community Manager for Tilray, you will be charged with managing our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Additionally, you will be responsible for our LinkedIn and Leafly pages. A Social Media Community Manager’s role highly tactical as you will be working and responding to our patients.
Tilray is a mainstream-premium brand that provides cannabis to medical patients in Canada. There are limiting regulations from Health Canada regarding marketing directly to consumers. As a result, Social Media is a key marketing communication channel for the brand and needs to be handled with the utmost care. The role will be charged with managing our Social Media channels. You will also be responsible for maintenance of our content calendar. Mixed media is a powerful storytelling tool and this role is responsible to take pictures/video throughout the facility and around Nanaimo to tell the Tilray story to our patients and potential patients.
You will work with the Senior Marketing Manager on creating the Social Media guidance document that will be living and updated consistency.
Roles and Responsibilities
Managing Social Media channels
Content creation
Community management: Working with the CSR team to respond to patients and potential patients’ questions, comments and reviews.
Channel growth: hitting monthly follower growth goals and engagement growth.
KOL social outreach and partnership/relationship development
Development of living Social Media guidance document and policies (internal and external)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
3+ years of Corporate Social Media experience
B.S. in Business or Communications MBA Preferred
