hello everybody! (dr. nick voice)

after outdoor is harvested i plan on doing a indoor sea of green

plant limit is 25...i can't go above 25....
i got 3 clones about 2 weeks ago..that leaves that leaves 22 plants for the sog....i have them set up in the mother room under a 4' 6 bulb t5...
strains are the white, gsc and blackwater...

i have around 6-8 weeks to grow the moms...and get enough cuttings...
i hope to run one stain at a time...the moms are under a 4' 6 bulb t5

the plan goes like this...
small trash cans/buckets from the dollar store (around 1.5-2 gallons each)
4'x4' tent... a 600w hps and 400w hps...roots organic or coco and perlite....
dyna-gro nutes

things im not sure about:
size of the pots ok?
veg times/when to flip
fat chicks
the time frame of a mom spitting out 22 cuttings
anything i am forgetting or you think i should know?

thanks riu!

Small amount of veg time will quickly out grow a 2 gallon pot. If you have not used coco before you may want to test you grow practices before committing a large number of cuttings. Some plants do better than others in coco. Coco can be a tuff feed sometimes.

im good with coco...nothing new...

imo less then 3 gallons is making it hard on yourself, and i think 5 gallon buckets are about the best best.
if i used 5 gallon buckets it wouldn't really be a sog....and i wouldn't have the room for more than 9 plants...
why is 3 gallons buckets making it hard on myself?

i think 3 gallon buckets are fine, i just think that less then a 3 gal pot is making it harder then it needs to be. the reason being your plant will not yield much in a 2 gallon pot and if you are able to pull a lot of bud off it will be hard to keep up with water.
i used to grow in a 4x4 tent myself, and have done sogs with 1 gal pots, 3 gal pots, and 5 gal pots in the tent. i personally just felt my 5 gal plants were easiest, the 3 gal pot plants also did great and you can fit a ton of those in the tent

good luck bro whatever ya do it will be great without question bout that =)

Setup sounds solid. Ive test sog in a 600w 4x4 tent with ten cuttings no veg time (2 weeks from being cut of mom to root) in 1 gal bags. I got between 10-16g a plant with 14ish being the average. They were also choped early at 7weeks. I just popped 4 new moms so after they veg for 8 weeks in going to try a perpetual sog in 3 week incraments using .3gal air pots. Ill have to water daily and 2 times a day on the weeks 6-9 set im sure.

my first grow was 25 cuttings veged to 12" and it was a mess to say the least. Way too crowded! That was a 4x4 tent with 3 gal grow bags.

Good luck man post some pics when you get it going. always nice to see how others make use of the same size tents.
