Oh i appologize, looking to buy soil to use for my plants, I dont want to use the soil thats in the ground... and since Fox Farm Ocean Forest is not available here what is a good alternative??
Does Home Depot, Rona, or Lowes carry anything I could possibly use??

I called up Lowes and Home Depot here, none carry it... very unfortunate I'm hearing good things about it....

i am sad for your supplier of soil!! lol. maybe if you asked they might stock it for you,in the uk it costs £12.50 for 50 litres.it really is excellent soil and if you can get it i think you will enjoy using it.its a dutch soil.

Just get a couple decent bags of soil and mix some sheep shit into it to. Nutes that you feed it are going to be a lot more important, then the type of bagged soil you start with.

YES, look for a brown bag called SUPER SOIL. i forget the brand that makes it, but its a good soil without an overload of fertilizers and stuff. It's also sterilized, which means you have no chance of mold, mildew, or bugs as a result of bad soil choice. As an example i used Black Gold once and got mold, mildew AND root rot... Super Soil is amazing, and it's a good generic medium for you to put your own nutes into without worrying about overloading your plants, but it still comes with some good guano and worm castings in it.

ib9ub6 is right bro, why waste money on expensive mixes, when you could just make your own, buy a few bags of black dirt, a few bags of perlite, find some worm castings from your nearby woods(decayed trees are a good place to start looking) and like ib9ub6 said throw some sheep shit in there, just make sure to have a compost pile of it and let it dry out; theres your perfect mix dude.

Sorry for the late reply, Its actually pretty warm, I'm located in southern ontario, so far its been fairly clear skies with some rain, I am looking at Promix, its easy to find and people only say good things. The one I'm going to get

I heard some good things about them at the gc forums. I just started using it and it seems to be working well, no added slow release nutes and lime to manage pH. Feels and smells really nice. I added an extra 20% perlite to the mix.
[EDIT] haha I just noticed that you had some links set up for showing the soils you were looking for. Yeah I guess the one I have is closest to the BX mix, just a cheaper/non-professional version. Got it at Canadian Tire

Ya i plan to pick that one up for my seedlings than transplant them into the promix once they get about 5 or 6 inches tall
