soil mixture

hey everyone i want to start a new grow(first grow!). and want a simple soil mixture i can use with nutes. everyone keeps giving me different answers and a lot of ppl are telling me to do fox farms ocean forest, but i cant get it locally!!! after all my research i came up with this soil mixture to use with nutes let me know what you think.(plz remember this is my first grow and just want to keep it simple!)

~5 parts potting soil(high grade, not the cheap stuff)
~2 parts topsoil
~2 parts perlite
~1 part peat moss

plz leave your opinions and other simple soil mixture suggestions you have!!!

You can do beter than fox farm. Is this for indoor or outdoor.

If your growing indoor don't use any topsoil.
If your growing outdoors and will reuse the spot think about coco coir & pumice too.
don't forget to add some all purpose organics 2-6-5

I'm looking through the formulas for the University of California Soil Mixes, and none of them recommend topsoil for potted plants. These guys know what they are doing. Everything else looks good, you can also add compost if you have some.

I agree with riddleme. Sunshine Mix #4 or Pro-Mix works great. Add ferts as you water/feed. can't go wrong.
