Sorry if this is so long, I want to put out the most info I can but I'll try not to confuse ya.

I think I have pH issues. Searched forums and all I can diagnose is pH and maybe some nute lockout.
I wasnt checking it before so I bought an Oakton pH /TDS meter to avoid further confusion and for piece of mind of course...

went to walmart bought a plastic tub and fish tank air pump and bubble stone to aerate the water to help de-chlorinate and stabilize the pH. This also gives me some time to work with some pH up/down and the new meter
Ordered ph/up and down last nite on ebay dry organic hydroponics brand...
1.5 lbs of each shipped for 33 bucks
I think thats a good deal grow shop was 19.99 per L-liquid or dry

I checked my filtered tap water its at 8.6 @ 65.3 degrees F and 135 ppm after sitting in the aerating tub for 12 hours

Straight outta the tap it was at 8.9
and 235 ppm
So I guess my aerator is working a little bit, also brought the humidity up in my closet from 35% to 50%

Is this pH/TDS on my tap water good/bad? I'll be able to post my runoff readings next time I water and hopefully I'll have the up/down solutions by then

I watered yesterday with molasses and it was 7.6 when I added to the pots
got some runoff put I dont think I got a good reading

One plant seems to be doing fine but Leaves are slightly yellow maybe could use some more nutes. Not like add more, but be able to use the nutes im gving it with correct pH..

Little info about the grow: (mini-journal)

600w HPS used in veg and flowering

Closet with white walls is kept at 72-79 F
35-40% humidity today hum is at 50% with water tub in the room

Nutes: Botanicare Pure Blend Pro grow Veg Formula 3-2-4 (used during veg)

Botanicare Pure Blend soil formula Pro Bloom 1-4-5 (using now during flowering) during 1st week of 12/12 I used half and half as directed on forums and on the label)

Soil: Jungle Growth in 5 gal pots

bought some FF Ocean Forest for the next crop ordered seeds from nirvana!! Cant wait!

2 plants in flowering
started 12/12 on Feb 5th so almost 2 weeks in

Grown from bag seed of really good bud both are females showing nice pistils and starting to flower

Adding nutes only every third watering and only half strength from what the label says - 2Tbsp/gal I only use 1

the OTHER, however, unfortunately, is quite yellow (kinda has been throughout its life cycle) but still produces new growth that's noticeable daily. Although the leaves are like claws (downward) and paperlike. By reading the plant I can tell that it does a little better after waterings but havent noticed it take the nutes and flourish....

Regardless of how weak the leaves seem, the stems look healthy, long pistils, and new growth seems to match the other plant's growth rate. In fact, this one is taller and more symmetrical than the healthier plant

I have attached an old pic of it from before flowering to show its state.

Keep in mind these are old pics from veg stage I dont feel like pullin them out to take pics HPS is bad on camera lenses!

1st pic is mid-size veg 2nd and 3rd are pre-flowering stage like a week before flowering

Those plants are overfertilized my friend.

You got the classic sign of eagle claw from excess nitrogen.

Back off the nutes, and you will see an improvement.

Best of luck. CG :)

Thanks! I def know I was over feeding in the beginning cuz I was using label strength then I cut back to 1/2 strength and they seem ok. Do you think I should flush them?

I would.. Or at least cut back big time until the new leaves look a more pale green.

Hmmmm, you gave all your plants the same amount of nutrient or?

The first two pics are visibly worse off.

The last 2 plants have way more foliage..

same strain?

Yeah they are just bagseed 1st grow I didnt want to mess anything up that hurt my pockets and my feelings...

Yeah same nutes, amount of water, same soil, but DEF different strains...

both are fem tho... might be some decent bud to roll up...

Have some Master Kush and Swiss Cheese on the way from Nirvana. Cant wait germ those and throw them in the veg closet!

I had a few like that and I flushed them and epsom salt watered them once then went back to my normal plant food and they are very happy now.

Right on! Thanks for the help... flushed her yesterday with 6.5 pH water...lots of it ... like 16 gallons.

Im skeptical on my nutes... any advice on theses? Grow shop dude and the label tell me to use every watering. the NPK values seem low on these compared to other nutes ive seen in some grow journals.... Am I supposed to feed every watering or like most say feed water water feed? or when I can tell the plant needs it... I need some structure on this so I know for sure whats wrong with this plant

Just dont overdue it...better to not nute burn it (seems to be a popular term around here) remember any changes you make will take 7 days or so to show up, dont over mother her ;)
