Soil Ph to high

Hello everyone

I have a THC auto bomb in a 5- gallon smart pot with soil.

I am testing the soil with a ph meter pen and soil slurry one part soil to one part water.

The soil is consistently testing 7.1-7.8. I calibrate the ph meter every few days it hasn’t been off.

I have flushed the pot with water ph at 6.5. The soil still tested at 7.5. I don’t understand how to bring the soil PH down. I continue watering with 6.3-6.5 ph water.

I don’t understand how to lower the PH.

Please advise on how to do this.

Thank you very much and have a great day!

Thanks,
Tessa

If no deficiencies let her go. I used to flush and flush when this happened and it wouldnt change much but then you loose all the good stuff out of your soil as well. Just keep feeding her lower ph water/nutes What type of soil is it? As long as its not acidic your basically fine in that range. Do what these guys are saying. No deficiencies just let it grow. The plant will tell you when its unhappy.

u need an actual soil ph checker (analysis kit) not just checking run off. not one of those cheap 3 in 1 probes either they dont work.. cdn tire and walmart sell cheap soil analysis kits.

What soil are you using? If it has any dolomite lime in it, that would be why your ph is higher than the water going in

Aye that stuff fucked up my plants last grow. Every deficiency under the sun caused by too high of a pH.

saved a couple through transplanting and feeding at 4.8pH.

The soil is 707 roots organics. It’s an outdoor plant on the off season. THC Auto Bomb started by seed on 8/19. It’s showing lots of deficiencies! I am riding this one out to see what happens. It started out great, but declined as the days got shorter. It’s way overdue according to the seed bank timeline.

I think it may have semi-re-vegged when it was supposed to stretch. Maybe maybe not maybe it had so many deficiencies the stretch couldn’t happen. It got really cold a few nights during that time 45F....

I am pretty sure that I corrected the calmag a bit because the leaves started reaching up and stopped dropping.

I changed as much soil as I could, about half the 5 gallon pot. The problem was that I didn’t get a PH meter until it was already too late.

I trimmed some of the flower it wasn’t ready but I just wanted to see what it would do. I put in a bag then a couple days later in a jar and it smells so good! It looks funny but it has a great smell....very strange to me since it isn’t finished maturing.

The trichomes are mini and they are mostly clear and some cloudy.

The flowers aren’t bulking up, probably due to the sunlight and nutrient lockout.

Today the soil slurry PH test is 7.0!!!!
