soil questiojns

im looking into a small grow in soil. ive done hydro but never soil. at walmart there is miracle grow potting soil that says it feeds up to 6 months. then there is some other stuff that looks more organic and has some sand already mixed into it.

would either of these be okay and is it okay to water them with nutrients if there is already nutriens in the soil?

Never use miracle grow... It will damage ur plants. Never buy soil from walmart period. Save and go to your local hydro store and get something that holds water well and air rates the soil. I use sunshine mix pro 4

Thank you but i dont have a local store. What about the organic stuff with sand mixed in? Wont this help with aeration?

don't add any more nutes for 3-4 weeks if it comes with nutes in it.you ever looked into doing a hempy bucket? its very easy and cheap...

Find some plain potting soil, straight dirt. And add perlite mix well. Better than sand.

You can grow in miracle grow just watch your watering you may need to feed in Veg if out doors and in bloom depending on when you put in ground. The nutes will work for about a good month or two then I started lightly feeding and had some great plants. I have made my own soil this year though.
