soil question

so i went shopping around today to see what would be the best soil for my plants when i start my grow and i came across a brand called moo nure...haha. so i was wondering if anyone has used this b4??? if you have plz comment! also if anyone could post a good quality soil they used for a reasonable price plz comment. i want to go as close to organic as possible, less fert the better.bongsmilie

Fox Farms Ocean Forrest is widely regarded as one of the best soils to use for growing. Feel free to use the search function to find out more, there are quite a few threads that discuss its merits. Good luck!

yeah i have seen that a lot of ppl use fox farms, but i cant get it without traveling at least an hour and dont want to do that, so i am looking for other options in soil. i kno there are other good ones out there. plz let me kno thx!

you would probably be better off making your own with compost or nutrient free promix, and then some earthworm casings, perlite, lime, bat guano, bone meal and/or blood meal. You only REALLY need the promix / potting mix, earthworm casings and perlite. in like a 10:3:4 ratio

most cheeper poting mix have bugs,poor drainage, test them first if u buy them, some are quite good, ian singerdale has best op if u have time space,and dont wont a long drive every time u need dirt
