Soil Run off PH @ 5.0!?!

I started feedin some sensi bloom and when i did my soil run off ph it seemed around 5.0-5.5.
My plants are going fine but I think I should fix this problem sooner than later. Before when they were vegging I tried to even it out by watering with 7.5 water and it PH shocked my plants and runoff was still low. Ive been reading about lime juice in the soil.

What would be the best route to fixing this problem?

Check out my plants in my grow journal.

It's not lime juice, it's Dolomite Lime, which is a pH buffer that helps keep your soil pH from fluctuating too much.

When you add nutes, do you take the pH of your water after you add the nutes and adjust it back up to 6.5-6.8? Adding nutes to the water drops the pH, so you need to check it after you add them.

Since your runoff is so low, you need to flush to remove the acid salts that have probably built up in your soil. To flush you need to run 3X the pot size worth of water through it. So if you have a 3 gallon pot, you need to flush it with 9 gallons of correctly pH'd water. Slowly add the water and let it filter through the soil and out the drainholes in the bottom. Don't add it so fast that it runs over the top of the pot. will also Flushing will also remove a lot of ferts from the soil, so on the last gallon of the flush add 1/2 strength ferts, and make sure to adjust the pH after you add them.

i always check ph after adding nutes. water is usually around 5.5 when mixed and i ph up to around 6.0-6.5 usually around 6.5
i will def flush tomorrow and try and stablize the ph.

what should the soil run off be around? 6.5 right?

Yep..gotta agree with Antigen on this one. I would think about adding some dolomitic lime or even one of the faster acting limes (smaller partical size) but do not use "quick lime" as it is caustic and typically used in mortar making. The build up of excess salts may require several flushings to remove so don't expect to get things corrected too quickly either. Oh yeah and if you use "lime juice" you may see your pH plummet to the low 4's or even the high 3's. It is highly acidic and precisely what the plant does not need.

How much runoff? Chances are you aren't watering enough. You should be watering to the point at least 1/4 of it runs off. There is really no reason to pH your water growing in soil. This isn't hydro here, if you're water is anywhere close to neutral it shouldn't be the problem.

i am def watering enough. my plants are in 1 gallon smart pots and i water with about 1 1/2 - 2L's
with plenty of run off. and im doing this every other day cause the smart pots dry out alot faster.

And what do you mean theres no reason to ph the water? After i add nutes the water is around 5.0 so i def have to PH it before i water
