Are there specific containers i can store my soil in? Or do any of you use some sort of storage container that you can get from homedepot or menards if so does it keep your soil nice and fresh also what kind of container is it?

I kinda dont like to using the bag, since i grow indoors there are sometimes accidents where i tip over the bag and spill a good amount on the floor :-( thanks in advance.

Is it ok to keep is sealed? or do you have to let the soil breath? i have foxfarm happy frog and sunshine mix 4, also i have earth castings. Will they be ok in sterilite containers? I ask about the breathing part because on the bags they have small holes around the bag.

Worst case scenario the microbes and micro-biology life (bacteria, trichoderma, mycorhizzae, etc.) die. I wondered if they'd die myself. When I aksed my local shop guy he said "eh, just use some of the compost tea we have" ... lol.

So yeah I suppose you could just supplement myco, bacteria, tricho, etc etc....

Do you think maybe if i make small holes on top of the sterilite container would keep the microbes live longer?

As far as Sterilite containers and trashcans go, their lids aren't usually airtight. Even if they were, most plastics are very slightly air permeable.
